The Four Journeys

We believe that God calls each person and community to pursue four journeys - the upward, inward, outward and community journeys.  Our hope is that these four journeys would shape our life together.

The upward journey is about savouring the grandeur, beauty and greatness of God. It means taking time to enjoy God through creation, creativity, his son Christ, slowness and surrender.

The inward journey is about letting the life of Jesus flourish in us, day by day, moment by moment.  It means taking time to practice the three S's (Scripture, silence and solitude), to experience healing and to grow into life-giving relationships.

The outward journey is about stepping into the call and mission of God's kingdom, that he has for me and us.  It is about practices such as listening, discernment, experimentation and then living out that call through "mission groups" where discipleship and service are bound together.

The community journey is about growing into the family of love that is shaped around Jesus.  It is about sharing spiritual practices, mission, possessions, joys and struggles, and life itself.  It is about being a multi-ethnic, non-denominational community, where all people and faith backgrounds can learn to follow Jesus together.
