The Grove is a Christian community group. There are a handful of us right now, most of us living within the Bayers/Connaught/Windsor neighbourhood. In our midst are Catholics and Protestants, single, married, with children. We are all students spiritually - none of us is an expert in the goodness, love and grandeur of God. Our hope is to make the neighbourhood a great community, to support those interested in drawing closer to God and to live as an intentional Christian community. We do this through community service projects, celebrations, leadership development and fostering spiritual growth.
Practically we are affiliated with the Convention of Atlantic Baptists of Canada. This helps us stay connected, organizationally, to a larger body of Christians. At the same time we connect with Christians in Halifax through cooperation, respect and collaboration.
